Therapy
People engage in therapy for many reasons. Some are looking to treat a specific issue, while others want to gain tools to deal with things in a more constructive fashion. As we move through life, looking back at the messages and behaviors that have shaped us, we can learn to develop more effective ways to reach our goals.
I treat for anxiety, depression, trauma, dissociation, moral injury, grief and loss, mood disorders, PTSD, relationship issues, communication, stress, self-esteem, anger, shame resiliency, life transitions and general speed bumps on the road of life.
Therapy is unique to every individual. Your care will reflect that individualism. I am trained in several evidence-based therapies including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), which are trauma focused disciplines, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I am a Certified Daring Way Facilitator™ and trained in Gottman Method Couples Counseling.
